چکیده

It is of great significance to study the effect solid contents (SC), binder-to-tailings (b/t) ratio, types and dosage fly ash (FA) on viscosity (V) uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) backfill. can improve filling efficiency reduce costs understand relationship between SC, b/t FA viscosity, UCS Consequently, this paper carried out compression tests rheological five different backfill specimens. Experimental results indicate that, with increase all samples increases as a power function. With decrease decreases an exponential The coupling SC ratio has influence samples. quadratic polynomial order slurry is: pure tailings < mixed Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) FA1 FA2. higher dosage, greater viscosity. OPC > smaller UCS. increased curing time (CT). relations present positively linear functions. feasible use predict backfill, error predicted value test mostly controlled within 10%. Ultimately, findings experimental work will provide scientific reference for mine design

Multiphysics Modeling and Simulation of Strength Development and Distribution in Cemented Tailings Backfill Structures

Cemented paste backfill structures are complex underground cementitious structures. After fresh cemented paste backfill (CPB; a mix of tailings, binder and water) is poured into underground stopes (mined-out voids), its strength which is a key mechanical design criterion of CPB structures, gradually develops with time. The development of CPB strength is governed by the coupled thermo-hydro-mech...

Strength Characteristics and Failure Mechanism of Cemented Super-Fine Unclassified Tailings Backfill

This experimental study investigates the strength characteristics of cemented super-fine unclassified tailings backfill (CSUTB) and its failure mechanism. Physical and chemical properties of tailings from the Zhongguan Iron Mine (ZGIM) were tested. A series of uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) tests was conducted to determine the relationships between UCS of CSUTB and three factors of cement-...

Pore Structure Evolution and Its Effect on Strength Development of Sulfate-Containing Cemented Paste Backfill

In this study, the effects of the initial sulfate content on the properties of cemented paste backfill (CPB) made from coarse tailings has been investigated via mercury intrusion porosimetry. The combined effects of the sulfate content and curing time on the total porosity, pore size distribution, and unconfined compressive strength of the produced material were discussed. It was found that the...

Influence of High Temperatures on Flexural Strength of Foamed Concrete Containing Fly Ash and Polypropylene Fiber

In this study, the elevated temperature flexural strengths of lightweight foamed concrete (LFC) containing fly ash (FA) and polypropylene fiber (PF) was investigated experimentally and statistically. The variables included were the temperature degrees (in a range of 20 to 600°C), LFC densities of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 kg/m3 and additive content. Two mixes were made by replacing 15% and ...

Test Study on Strength and Permeability Properties of Lime-Fly Ash Loess under Freeze-Thaw Cycles

In order to study the application of lime-fly ash loess in permafrost subgrade engineering, uniaxial compressive test, fast direct shearing test and permeability tests were carried out on lime-fly ash loess under different curing ages and freeze-thaw cycles. Uniaxial compressive strength of lime-fly ash loess increases slowly with the curing ages, and can reach 3.5 Mpa after the curing ages of ...
